Hi! I am Zheng Gong, an Associate Researcher at the College of Intelligence and Computing and the School of Cyber Security, Tianjin University. I am also a researcher at TANKLab, led by IEEE Fellow Prof. Keqiu Li. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in February 2025, supervised by Prof. Lei Yang. Before that, I received my master's degree from Xidian University, supervised by Prof. Hui Li. 龚政,现任天津大学智能与计算学部网络安全学院副研究员,博士生导师,网络与云计算实验室 TANKLab 团队成员,团队负责人为 IEEE Fellow 李克秋教授。兼任天津大学香港理工大学深圳未来技术学院教师。龚政于 2025 年在香港理工大学获得计算机科学博士学位,导师为杨磊教授;此前在西安电子科技大学获得硕士学位,导师为李辉教授。入选国家海外博后引才项目。近两年主持国家博士后面上项目、国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目等。近年来,在计算机网络方向 全部 CCF-A 类会议 发表完整研究论文,包括 ACM SIGCOMMACM MobiComUSENIX NSDIIEEE INFOCOM。曾获 ACM MobiSys 2026 新星奖,以及 ACM MobiCom 2022 最佳演示银奖。现任中国计算机学会(CCF)物联网专委会执行委员,并担任多个 CCF-A 期刊和国际会议审稿人。

My research broadly explores intelligent IoT, low-power communication and sensing, and AI-driven systems. Current interests include, but are not limited to, autonomous driving, localization, and navigation; intelligent acoustic communication; side-channel security; cross-medium communication; and efficient optimization of edge-side AI foundation models. 我的研究方向涵盖智慧物联网、低功耗通信与感知,以及人工智能相关领域,具体包括但不限于:智能驾驶、定位与导航,智能声学通信,侧信道安全,跨介质通信,以及端侧 AI 大模型优化等。

I have published full research papers at ALL CCF A conferences in computer networks, including ACM SIGCOMM, ACM MobiCom, USENIX NSDI, and IEEE INFOCOM. My work received the Rising Star Award at ACM MobiSys 2026 and the Best Demo Award Runner-up at ACM MobiCom 2022.

Student Recruiting学生招募

I am actively recruiting motivated Ph.D., master's, and undergraduate students to work with me. The research directions include intelligent IoT, low-power communication, sensing systems, embedded systems, signal processing, deep learning, and related EE/CS intersections. Students with EE backgrounds are encouraged to have coursework or experience in electromagnetic fields and waves, communication principles, digital/analog circuit design, antenna simulation and design, and complex functions. Students with CS backgrounds are expected to be comfortable with Python, C++, Matlab, embedded development, signal processing, or deep learning. Prior research, competition, or project experience in IoT, communication, or sensing is a plus.
